Tamora Petitt
Tamora Petitt
UX Practitioner, Strategist, and Educator

20+ years of experience designing digital products, establishing UX practices, and leading product teams across health, finance, education, and commerce have taught me that the most valuable thing a UX leader can do is build the conditions for great work with clear process, grounded research, and a team that trusts each other. I lead with curiosity, set high standards, and bring the same care to developing people as I do to the work itself. Let’s talk about how I can add value to your organization.

Some of my career highlights include:

  • Creating a UX vision and strategy aligned with business goals, driving the product roadmap for Dotdash Meredith’s commerce team.

  • Implementing an iterative design process that optimized the commerce template and drove a 12% lift in sales per session across 40 brand sites at Dotdash Meredith.

  • Building and scaling WebMD’s first UX team, implementing user-centered design practices and design operations supporting 21 product managers across multiple templates, mobile apps, tools, and platforms.

  • Designing a 0-1 social media platform allowing physicians to share insights and clinical experiences

  • Leading the responsive redesign of WebMD’s flagship product, the Symptom Checker, resulting in reduced friction and increased user engagement

  • Integrating AI into the product design process and designing an AI Shopping Assistant for Dotdash Meredith
